Free Music: Eminem – “Infinite” Album
May 15, 2009

Eminem - Infinite
Re-released (straight from 1996) for free to help push Eminem's new album Relapse. This is the Eminem I liked.  Although Relapse is good in the sense that it's thorough, consistent and lyrical, I just can't listen Relapse and relate to any of Em's subject matter.  It's entertaining, but I can't see myself recalling any quotes from this album in 5 years.  If you're looking to be entertained, then Relapse is the album for you, otherwise you don't have a whole lot to look forward to.  It kills me too, because when I hear Eminem from 1996,  you can feel he loves the music, which I don't get on any of his recent commercial releases.  I can't help but wonder why he never drops a mixtape or street album like Infinite for the true hip-hop heads who know he's talented but want to hear him talk about something that they can relate to like we know he can.  Because after all, even though they make up the majority of the market share, not all of us are white boys and 15 year-old girls from middle America.     Full album download, Tracklist and artwork link after the jump.
