I always have to stop when I see a video about someone putting in work creatively. Check out how Marco goes from the vinyl stash to the MPC…there ain’t nothing wrong with sampling when its done right.
The track is called Take Money featuring Rock of Heltah Skeltah and Freddie Foxxx. Exxecution by Marco Polo & Ruste Juxx drops today March 23.
I think Floyd is going to be in for the toughest fight of his life. Shane is bigger than Floyd, has knockout power, and an iron chin. This fight will be much more difficult than the fight with Pacman . I know a lot of people were yapping about Floyd being scared of Manny, but I think this fight should silence all that garbage. I think Floyd can pull it out, but he’s going to have to box the best fight of his career. Spotted over @ smartenupnas.
9th is seriously on his grind. Seems like he’s been working with everyone lately, not to mention getting his professor on. Anyway, this is footage of 9th in the studio with Laws who is dropping the 4:57 Mixtape in conjuction with J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and Don Cannon on Feb. 16th. Shout to Decatur Dan for the footage.
Shouts to creativity. You don’t see a lot of dudes putting effort into their packaging anymore. This design was done by Brett Rollins who has designed for Ego Trip among others. The Stimulus Package drops on Feb. 16th. I might actually grab this based on the packaging alone, not to mention the music.
Spotted this over @ Nahright, and Eskay couldn’t have said it better:
“The first 15 seconds of this video = why I love this job”
Just hearing Charlie Gibson saying Pusha T and Malice was priceless. That aside, Ian Cohen’s breakdown of the album is on point. This is the well rounded Clipse album that I’ve been waiting for, and it’s definitely worth the $. Til the Casket Drops in stores now.
This is behind the scenes footage from the “Don’t Die” Remix video featuring Bun B, Colin Munroe, 88-Keys and produced by Beatnick & K-Salaam. I’ve been a fan of that track since it dropped, and I can’t wait to see the finished product. It’s cool to see Julito from The Wire in there too. Still wish they would have done a 6th season of that show.
What’s that? You can’t afford the tickets? Then tune into the LIVE show tomorrow or follow us on twitter to win yourself a pair! We will be giving away a set of tickets via twitter @3pm Eastern today and another set on the LIVE SHOW tomorrow at 6:30pm Eastern!
I happen to be a pretty big Howard Stern fan so try to listen when I can. I tuned in during the replay of yesterday’s show last night and I caught some audio of Artie Lange describing his conversation with Quincy Jones as he was on the phone making the decision to put Big and Pac on the cover of VIBE Magazine.
Note: Sorry for the poor quality, I had nothing to record with other than my Blackberry at the moment. If anyone has a better version, please hit me up!
//edit: The “Orlando” Artie is talking about in the clip is none other than Orlando Jones….
