Shouts to Eskay @ NahRight and Flud Watches for supporting a great album. Like most of the free albums & mixtapes dropping these days, Cookin Soul is no exception to the rule that free albums are out bangin’ retail, major label albums.
I run my own blog site called Fat Kid Fresh, and every now and then I like to assemble mixtapes of songs I’ve gathered on the internets that I’m feeling. I’m not screaming all over it, all songs are full and unedited for your listening pleasure. Enjoy!

I love you internets. Without you I’d have never heard of artists like Melo-X. And thanks to onSmash and Melo-X I can present you with his album Mustafa’s Renaissance which is an exquisitely produced, FREE album I’ve been bumpin on loop since last night. I wouldn’t call this a mixtape. Special features include the likes of: Nikki Ntu, Theophilus London, Jesse Boykins III and Mickey Factz. The track “I Don’t Rap” is my personal favorite.
Sure it’s “earthy” but you need some fiber in your diet anyway. All this New York and Atlanta mainstream music we’ve been popsting has made you incontinent. Consider it a favor and you’re welcome.
Still need more? Cop another one of his earlier mixtapes via his MySpace page.
