Playboy Tre - "Last Call"
[audio:http://www.hoodhype.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/Playboy_Tre_-_Last_Call_-_Freestyle.mp3]

MOMMA WHY?!  WHY MOMMA?!  Tell me why these fuckin rap kids are so damn fickle that they're letting Tre slip outta the game?  Are they mentally handicap?  Are they slow?  Is this dude spittin' too intelligent for them to keep up with what he's sayin Momma?   WHY MOMMA?!

Momma, please send these kids to school Momma. They need to stop listening to all this high-fructose rap and start getting some of that "roughage" into their diets.  I think these kids need a well balanced musical diet and music like Tre's needs to be a part of their dietary detoxification regimen Momma.  They need that brain food Momma!

Don't let this dude slip outta the game y'all, it's because of music from artists like Playboy Tre that we have the inspirational fuel to do what we do here as well.

Drop Playboy Tre a message and Twitter, let him know we can't have him duckin' out yet!

Listen to Momma and get Tre's FREE Mixtape: "Liquor Store Mascot"
And check him from previous Episodes of the HoodHype show on Tre's Corner

ATL RMX[1]
Rockstar Games and Adult Swim are coming together to put out a mixtape titled ATL RMX as well as two tracks for Beaterator users to remix.  This outta be interesting.  I see Pill and Playboy Tre on there!  If YOU remix the tracks using Beaterator, let me know, that would be something fun to spin on the show!

From Rockstar:
Rockstar Games is happy to announce a unique partnership with Adult Swim to bring music fans a free downloadable mix tape beginning December 7 and lasting through the end of 2009, exclusively on AdultSwim.com. The mix tape consists of tracks chosen by both Rockstar Games and Adult Swim and places strong emphasis on up and coming artists and original remixes. In addition to a wealth of free music, listeners will have the option to download two tracks – “Hello Miss” and “Is That You God?”— for remixing using Rockstar’s portable music-making application, Beaterator, available on Sony’s PSP.

For me, this is gonna be personally one of my most anticipated albums of 2009.  I CANNOT WAIT.  Quik has gotta be one of my top 5 favorite producer/rappers of all time.  And then Kurupt in the mix?  I look at this as almost like a West Coast Slaughterhouse in its infancy.  It's gonna be fire.

Blaqkout drops June 9th.  Or 32 days, 12 hours, 8 minutes, 30 seconds....29....28.....27.....

So this past Saturday we had Playboy Tre on the live show for another installment of "Tre's Corner", where we read some more of your calls for advice from Playboy Tre.  If YOU would like to ask Tre for advice about anything, email him at tre@hoodhype.com  Before we got off the line with him, we asked him about the rumor about B.o.B.'s retirement which he said was nothing more than a cancelled tour date that was taken out of context and speaks about B.o.B. being in the studio with Eminem!

Blu
Sorry I couldn't find a decent pic of Big Tone so I had to throw Blu up. This is a dope track but I had to post it more for the news that came with it. According to 2DopeBoyz, The Breakfast Club (Big Tone, Elzhi, and Dwele) have reunited and have added Ta'Raach and Blu (C.R.A.C. Knuckles) to the group! How fresh is that!?
