Bishop Lamont
Dre gave Bishop a monster beat to work with and Bishop certainly did not let the real hip-hop fans down.  This joint is one of the hardest shits I've heard all damn year.

"Swear you been a renegade, but ni**a please you been afraid go get master his lemonade and stop with all the street charades"

What up doe?   Jonathan Ross ran a great interview with Marshall talking about his drug addiction, his come up and music.  Pretty interesting to say the least.

Side note:  Am I the only one who's noticed how Em is kinda fighting his urge to smile the past couple television interviews?  It's kinda funny and weird, but also seems kind of smart when you think about it.  As an interviewer you're far more likely to ask someone who is being funny and laughing the punchy, risky questions.  But if that person you're interviewing isn't goofing and is straight serious, no facial expression and monotone you're more likely to tiptoe around questions and subjects (see our Joe Budden interview in Episode #69, lol).  So either he's getting really weird, or he's just really smart.

Part 2 of the interview after the cut.

Eminem - Infinite
Re-released (straight from 1996) for free to help push Eminem's new album Relapse. This is the Eminem I liked.  Although Relapse is good in the sense that it's thorough, consistent and lyrical, I just can't listen Relapse and relate to any of Em's subject matter.  It's entertaining, but I can't see myself recalling any quotes from this album in 5 years.  If you're looking to be entertained, then Relapse is the album for you, otherwise you don't have a whole lot to look forward to.  It kills me too, because when I hear Eminem from 1996,  you can feel he loves the music, which I don't get on any of his recent commercial releases.  I can't help but wonder why he never drops a mixtape or street album like Infinite for the true hip-hop heads who know he's talented but want to hear him talk about something that they can relate to like we know he can.  Because after all, even though they make up the majority of the market share, not all of us are white boys and 15 year-old girls from middle America.     Full album download, Tracklist and artwork link after the jump.

What up doe?  Eminem really likes to murder people.  I like the song but the video needs a little more Rik Cordero involved lol.

What up Detroit?!  Okay this joint is not the type of Eminem track I tend to enjoy but you can't help but laugh.  This dude managed to write a song that completely covers damn near the past 5 years of pop culture and completely ravage, rape, murder  and mame each and every name in it.

He's figured out the formula apparently, you know this track is going to be huge on the radio.
Catchy Hook + 5 million celebrity name drops + A dash of "i don't give a fuck" = Billboard Success

Bishop Lamont
This joint could be my theme song in many many situations.

LISTEN: Bishop Lamont - "Friends"

On a  side note, the self proclaimed DJ turned "journalist" put out some false rumor shit about Bishop being dropped from Aftermath, to which Bishop responded via UStream to let em know what time it REALLY is.  So the rumors are false, Bishop is still with the Math.

If you're gonna call yourself a journalist dude, get your damn facts straight before you go runnin at the damn mouth.

Return of Shady
The hook to this joint annoys the hell outta be because once you hear it, the shit stays on your brain for the rest of the day.  Keep an eye out for Bobby Creek's upcoming album/mixtape The BC Era Deuce.

LISTEN: Eminem ft. Bobby Creekwater & Ca$his - "Crack a Bottle" (remix)

Props to the homie Steve-O.

Not my favorite Bishop joint, but knowing this dude, he'll put out ten hellabangers after this.  Off The Reformation coming soon.

Eminem
What up Detroit.

Happy joint from Em.  Sounds like a demo track, he spits Dre's verse on it.  Don't count on this being on Em's new album.  You can however, count on whoever leaked this track being without employment.

LISTEN: Eminem - "Number One"

All I can say is wow. Stat was a real ass dude and we had a lot of fun talking to him on last Friday's show (which should be dropping tonight, complete with this interview for you the iPod users). He talked about everything from the label issues with Shady/Aftermath to the industry as a whole as well as where he's at with his own projects "The South Got Something to Say" and the upcoming "Bailout" and "2010" projects. Trust me, there's ALOT more that I'm not speaking on that you MUST LISTEN TO to see what I'm talkin about when I say this was a VERY ENLIGHTENING interview.

Truth be told, this interview was damn near an hour but we managed to get it edited down to half that.

Let em know where you heard it and make sure you get in on the live shows, we're always getting surprise interviews!
