The evolution of Bobby Creekwater. I often wonder where Bobby would be, what kind of music he'd be making today if we was still with Shady. It feels like he's in a completely different space nowadays, relaxed, happy, making good music. Reason #1,203,299 why and artist being independent is better for us music nerds than an artist on a record label. His upcoming album Revenge drops 7/4.

A hot ass track from Bobby Creek's upcoming release "Back 2 The Briefcase B-Sides" which drops March 4th.  Coincidentally (or not?) it's Bobby Creekwater's born day.  Truth be told, I was waiting for a beat to kick in, but Creek was so on point, I didn't give a damn.

On a quick side note, I just want to add how much I appreciate this dude's music.  Alot of people have slept on Creek (including Interscope records) and to me it's really incredible how far he's come lyrically since his jumpoff single "Bobby Creek".  Maybe he's always been this good and just was never given the forum to do it till the Internet allowed it to happen outside the label's grasp.

Either way, I appreciate the hell out of this independent dude who continues to deliver us from the industry devils by sharing with us some of the realest music you won't hear on the radio.

No worries about radio though, Creek always has a home on the HoodHype Show without question.

No idea why I wasn't on the mailing list when this dropped.  No matter though, I've listened to this album through twice already today and although I'm not feelin every track on the album,  I can definitely tell you Creek is one of the very few artists out here today that truly loves the music without question.

It's because of artists like Bobby Creek that I am motivated to do what I do and support the hell out of them.  And with that, please make sure you download, tweet, facebook and myspace the hell outta this dudes album.

From Creek:

Throughout history there have been situations that have required the art of persuasion, very subtle word play, or the gift of gab if you will. There were some that reached such levels that they were able to convince an audience to sell a refrigerator in order to obtain a cube of ice. There have been many times throughout history where the art of persuasion was very necessary……..and this ain’t one of em!!! Do yourself a favor download “THE DAY IT ALL MADE $ENSE” right now!!!! Gone….

FULL album download link, a couple of my favorite cuts and tracklist after the jump.

Sounds like Bobby Creek losing patience with his label....I hate this shit, this dude is one of the most lyrical artists Shady Records has left but like Bishop Lamont, they continue to shelve him for their flagship female friendly artists, regardless of the artistic relevance.  Shit I'd say "goodnight Shady" too, especially since you're makin your own buzz without their asses.  Props to Bobby Creek and Steve-O.

"See this game here is quite shady,
at some point I might have to say goodnight Shady,
at some point I might have to take a bow,
but not on they terms or mines I made a vow."

Fuck the politics though, the track is hot.  Shouts to Bobby Creekwater and BGOV!
