Peep the latest visuals from TRUTH's new single off his upcoming album The Remembering which drops this July. Keep your eyes peeled for TRUTHLiVE, a hip-hop Swiss army knife who's doing his part to change the game out there on the Left Coast. Much respect to his movement and music.

Haven't seen much from "Sinch" and RCeason in quite a while. Here are the visuals for the single off his LP Vigilante. Good to see the East Oakland, CA MC is still puttin in the work. Definitely feelin the hook and production on this one.
Lookin' at the talent Erk recruited for his latest video, who wouldn't? This is a video for another single off his EP The Prelude which is available for free download. Man I'm a huge fan of the stuff Erk is doin' right now. Pay close attention this dude directs and edits his own videos.
Much, much respect. Here's his indie spotlight I wrote up on him earlier this month complete with The Prelude download link.
On Episode #124 of the show (recorded last Thursday) we wanted to get Jay Rock on to talk about his recent signing with Tech N9ne's Strange Music label. That's a HUGE look for independent music to take an artist straight from the belly of the beast (Warner Brothers) and and sign them on an independent label. That's like snatchin' up the homecoming queen from her man without even trying. \
Jay spoke on how he had a few other label offers, his touring, signing and touring with Tech, his fans and Jay's group Black Hippy.

Also, here's the Tech N9ne interview Major was talking about in this interview.
Our indie artist pick Moe Green is at it again with a video for another single off his free album Rocky Maivia: Non-Title Match. I like Moe's music alot, because he's doing what alot of artists are scared to do. He bucks the norm for his region, and I respect the hell outta that.
Not what you would expect to hear from one of today's Bay Area artists, Moe Green has a sound unlike the majority of his West Coast counterparts. And that's definitely not a bad thing. Part of what I feel to be the return of West to Hip-Hop, Moe Green will definitely not disappoint.
Personally, I was shocked to hear a sound like this come out of California. Alot of times you expect to hear that West Coast twang along with tracks laced with Troutman'esque sounds, which isn't the case with Moe.
Coming out swinging with his debut effort Rocky Maivia: Non Title Match, I definitely have high hopes for Moe Green. Hopefully some of the artists out there on the west coast can take a few notes from this guy.
Moe Green is killin it from the Bay and not falling into that noisy quirky weird stuff. Gonna have to do a write up on this cat. Really appreciate what he's doing right now, and I'm really feelin this song. What you think?

To see Dogg Pound, Ice Cube and Jay Electronica all in one show? Man I'd love to cover the Paid Dues show in San Bernadino, CA. Check out the details at Guerilla Union.
Part of our little network of sites, I've mentioned the ScratchVille Podcast a few times here. For those who don't know, that's where I'll place some of my favorite DJ Mixes from time to time, with a few bullshit ones just to keep everyone happy. But I gotta say, this has to be one of my favorites to date.
