Not sure that I agree that he's one of the biggest breakthrough artists of 2010.  But many wishes for Gibbs' continued success, I just get the feeling he doesn't give a damn about much of anything.  I could be dead ass wrong, just my opinion.

Here's Gibb's new single "Something New"

New video from Freddie's Str8 Killa EP. The video is well done, and this is one of the better cuts off the EP.

Gibbs tells the story of Gary Indiana and what inspired him to get into music. Laced with some of his recent tracks off his recent mixtape, this is an inspiring look into how Freddie's life was before he started to pop off.  I love when indie directors do pieces like this, so well done, although it could have been a little more in depth.

Man this shit is gutter and soulful as hell.  Lovin the way this video was shot too, looks exactly how it sounds.  Gritty, soulful and saturated as hell.  Lovin this joint.

Freddie Gibbs is one the realest new cats on the block right now, so him getting on a track with Mikkey is perfection.  You can catch the interview we did with Freddie here, and we actually interviewed Mikkey a few years back and never shared that with you guys.  One of these days we'll have to dig that out of the "the archives", that was a 50 minute interview full of all kinds of inside Cash Money Records  and Good Music goodness.

Who was spittin the hardest on this session? I gotta go withGibbs, who just slightly edged out Jay Rock and Pill , who did his thing, but it sounded like he went almost 100% off the head. Honorable mention to Lamar and Armeretta. Props to OnSmash for the footage

Freddie Gibbs & DJ Skee are back at it with an 81 track compilation. Yes, you read that shit right, 81 tracks! You're probably thinking what I was thinking, "there is no way this fool is dropping 81 new joints", and you'd be right. This mixtape is a best-of-to-date featuring all of Freddie's previous free work, plus 7 unheard cuts. So if you're looking for a new talented MC to check out, or if you already have Freddie's first two projects and are looking to hear more new material this is worth the download. Just be sure to clear some space on your IPod. Props to The Smoking Section.

Caught this video while making the rounds, and the track is hot. Looks like I'm a little late on both of these cats, but Freddie and Pill sound official. I guess I've got some homework to do.
