What a phenomenal remix. THIS is a remix. Major props to Beatnick and & K-Salaam for turning a motown classic into a modern day banger without swappin out the original vocals. My apologies to Tito by the way, your fro wouldnt fit in the pic cuzzin.

"Okay, so this is our first blast of the New Year. A lot of things have changed since 2008. Despite the fact that the Israeli army is out at this moment murdering women, elders, and children for sport; and Oakland police shot an innocent Black man in the back while he was face down with his hands behind his back; I still remain optimistic that things can and will change for the better.
I want to send a shout out to the family of Oscar Grant, and everybody out there who died at the hands of police brutality (too many to name.) I also want to send love to all my people in Gaza who are experiencing some of the most extreme forms of apartheid, genocide, and ethnic cleansing. (Sorry, bombing a public school doesn't exactly equate to "fighting terrorism" in my book.) I can't really believe all this is happening right now under our noses and we just accept it.
