Discussing everything from the 15th anniversary of 2Pac's death to Floyd Mayweather vs. Victor Ortiz and the boys' top 5 white girls in the game plus a whole lot of hot new music and more.
At the Royal Oak Music Theater in Michigan. We have a BUNCH of footage from that night, here's a collection of clips. Eminem made a special appearance on the "2.0 Boys" song as they closed out the night. Great show... we'll be posting the rest of the footage very soon!
Back off "the sickness" and we throw you all another curve ball as we run half the show in "the basement" and then we took it to the road as we headed to the Shady 2.0 show (we even snuck in a couple audio snippets from the show for you all).
This episode we announced the HoodHype Fight Club, and made our picks for all four brackets (East, West, South, & Midwest)! We also discussed Quincy Jones tossing Kanye under the bus, broke down our idea of a stereotypical grammy voter, and discussed the OnSmash vs. Fed Govt. situation. As always we crack open the stash box to try out a new brew, and we put Yeezy's Dark Twisted Fantasy up on the chopping block for this episode's Blend it or Bump it!
Not sure what album this will be from but damn. Novell is sick and Joell is probably killin it. I think I'm about one song away from putting Joell Ortiz at the top of my list of favorite MC's of 2010 without question. This dude is so slept on it's insane.
Phro brought "AGoody" back to the basement with a complete collection of liquor. Needless to say the show kicked off to a great start. We spun some incredible music, JMack talked about his visit to the A3C festival in Atlanta, GA in the US and we got into a big debate over older women. We had a GREAT time this episode, especially when the "yac" started to kick in.
New joint from Joell with some help from Joey and Novel. I wasn't sure about this joint after my first listen, but now I'm on my 3rd spin so enough said. This track is off Joell's upcoming mixtape, YAOWA which will be hosted by DJ Green Lantern & Don Cannon and will drop in October.
This is Joell's spin on Lloyd Bank's "Beamer, Benz, or Bentley" track. Instead of talking about flossin, Joell and Capo pay homage to hustlin out of the low-key whips. I like Joell on this track better than Banks or Juelz, but I still ain't crazy about that beat.
Joell has a crazy talent for telling stories in his music and this joint is no exception. No video needed Joell, you've got crazy talent. With Novell on the hook, this one's easily a hot summer banger. What's up with the weird look at the end of the video though lol! Joell's old girl show's up and dude had a look like "oh shit, she don't look the same...wherestheclosestexit....wherestheclosestexit..."
Whooooooooooooweee. You I'm only gonna post that fire that I'm feelin and this album is volcanic. Think I'm kidding? Check out "I Go Off" which is just ONE of the heat rocks off this album. What's that? How much is it? Oh it's free. Make sure you cop this one to burn and bump in the whip on the way home.

Joell, you killt it with this one. That "We Run This Town" joint is HI-LARIOUS.
