Midwest bracket for the hip-hop fight club this episode. What we thought would be one of our easiest, was actually one of the toughest with the biggest upsets. Make sure you check that out! We also had Bumpy Knuckles & DJ Premier's new album The Kolexxxion on the chopping block for Blend it or Bump it. Download episode 166 free!

What we thought the Trayvon Martin case would be a single topic we'd carry through the show and it ended up taking it completely over. The episode was full of heated debate and overrode any of the other segments, so we're releasing this as a "special episode" since this has never happened on the show before, as we're sure you'll hear. We were all in rare form and the episode was not your typical installment of the show. Everyone was extremely emotional and passionate about the topic so things go crazy at times. We're still recovering.

Crazy episode and a long episode too! We discussed if Watch the Throne will really be leak proof, why is it so hard to pay homage in hip-hop and our first ever "Hip-Hop Whack Off". That's right, you read correct. Listen to the episode to get the details! More importantly, send your boys to A3C Hip-Hop Festival!! Click here!!
Finally, Obie's makin' his come back with a what is probably one of the best joints I've heard from him since his disappearance from the scene. Video directed by Detroit's own Gerard Victor and track produced by RedBull Big Tune Runners up "No Speakerz", also from the D.

We discussed racism against postal workers, Drake getting knuckled up by Weezy, a listener submitted Stash Box and we put Devin the Dude's latest album on the chopping block for Blend it or Bump it!
Another new joint from Obie's Special Reserve album. The album will be available Dec. 15th on Nahright.

What up doe?! Here's another cut off Obie's upcoming album of tracks produced by Moss titled "Special Reserve".
LISTEN: Obie Trice - "I Am"
So from the sounds of it, Special Reserve is a collection of tracks Obie did with Moss over the years which they followed up with touched up and made into an album. Which begs the question, is it ALL old material? And if so, why isn't Obie releasing new music at this point? Just curious. Regardless, the music sounds dope and gritty as hell, which is my favorite kind of hip-hop. Album drops December 15, 2009. Full tracklist and additional info on the album after the jump.
What up doe?! Detroit is back in the building with a new single from Obie Trice. Man we don't get to hear from Obie enough, I REALLY wish we could get him back on the show. Obie if you're still on the interwebs and you see this, the invitation is still open, we'd love to get you back on the show! It's been nearly 3 years to the DAY!
