We had Detroit MC, Mola1 back on the how, reviewed Nas' - Life Is Good, talked old school video games and a ton more. We were so indie this episode, even the drink in this episode's stashbox was independently made!

Between this and Elzhi's new album, it's good to see Detroit is on track to show the world there's more to Detroit than a white boy who hates his mom.
June 14'th is the day this album is dropping and as for Elzhi, do yourself a favor and download Elmatic, it will make your year.

Sean Price is still in the building. I wonder what the story with P is anyway, I thought he was leaving DuckDown. Was that all rumor or was he just talkin about pillows?

Sean P is a beast and Mic Tyson is about to drop soon, this track is actually from Kimbo Price - The Prelude to Mic Tyson. That's right, above is a video for a mixtape that is a prelude to an album. Ohh the industry fuckery that's going on right now, I love it. Nothing is standard and everything is completely open. Any artist can make a prelude to a prelude then drop a mixtape that's a interlude to the prelude album and take that and re-release it with and without DJ tags.Â
Then take them all and sell them in a "best of series" then do that 4 times over and make all four the "gold collection".
Then they should take the entire gold collection, sample it, but only in reverse and make house music outta the whole damn collection and sell it again.
Fuck the labels, it's time to do whatever the hell you want. No standards here.

It must be Detroit day here. Here a video I just spotted over at 2DBZ with Black Milk talking about his releases coming for 2010 as well as some behind-the-scenes studio footage. My favorite. That Random Axe has some serious potential. Can't wait for that.
