What up doe?! KetchP aka KetchPhraze (of Street JUSTICE)  brought some Detroit/Inkster HEAT on this one. Ketchphraze, Guilty and Xplicit all sound like their voices were made for this Black Milk produced joint.

Still pissed I missed the show last night with these dudes opening for Reflection Eternal with Nametag and a live band.  All good though, I came in and found that they dropped their latest album today which is 100% FREE.   I actually started to write a list of my favorite standout joints on this album and typed out over half of the tracks on the album, which definitely makes this immediate copy-to-ipod-and-burn-to-cd-for-bumpin-in-the-whip status.  On a brief unrelated side note, I sometimes wonder if Detroit hip-hop makes NYC heads nervous.

Check out Street Justice on BandCamp ( to cop this album and two other previous free joints of theirs.  Peep em on Twitter too.

Street Justice
In an era of hip-hop where groups are few and far between, Street Justice is a very welcome change to the game.  With a unique sound and lyrical flow backed by phenomenal production, it's no question why Street Justice took the listener vote for the favorite track of Episode #88 of the HoodHype show.

And on a personal note, now that voting is over, I can I've been bumpin' "High Life" at least once a day since they first submitted it for the show so it's no doubt that I'm gonna be coppin that "DJ DDT & Street Justice Go To White Castle" album they will be dropping soon.  Peep their winning track below and check out our interview with Street Justice on Episode #90. We fought like hell this episode, specifically over the credibility and quality of the new Eminem album.  The show ended up becoming an all-out piss fest.  We had alot of fun with some callers, some great debate, we spoke with Episode #88 winners Street Justice (What up doe?) and most importantly some great independent tracks.

Changing the format a little, we've moved the LIVE show to Thursdays  which opens up alot of doors for us to deliver you an even better episode of HoodHype. Unfortunately we were Phro-less but that didnt stop us from spinning some hot new joints, getting in an interview with shit talker extraordinaire Byron Crawford and you know we couldn't do a show without Tre's corner.  Last but certainly not least we got a chance to catch up with artist you voted #1 of Episode #86 Jus Mic.  Don't forget to vote for your favorite track this episode!
