Special episode with two Detroit MC's sitting in with us. Ben Miles, MC from Of Mice & Musicians stop by to talk on the show and drop some of his music and Mola1 of The Definition came back to fill in for Phro. We decided to finally go in on this Illuminati discussion as well as a few other topics. Also, PLEASE support HoodHype's Road to A3C Hip-Hop Festival at http://hoodhype.com/donate !!
In part two of Major's interview with Jon Connor he discusses his upcoming release Vinnie Chase: Season 2, one of NYC's hardest working independent MC's Donny Goines steps in to speak a word or two on Connor as well as a brief discussion on the track Jon recorded at Stankonia studios with Joe Scudda and Termanology while in ATL for A3C. #thatshitcray.
Five years we've been doing this. A simple thank you would never be enough for your support and listening to our show. To kick off our fifth year episode we gave away a copy of NBA2k11 live on the show, ran through the stash box and previewed Statik Selektah & Termanology's album 1982 for "Blend It or Bump It". Half way through Statik called in randomly to talk about the album and what he's been working on. That, a ton of phenomenal music (as always) and a lot more.
I love hip-hop, anybody with talent can get it in. But damn, the last place I expected to hear a joint goin in this hard was from a white, lipstick wearing, good lookin, pretty eyed, female rapper named after a mythical land where Heman was from. And she does the whole damn thing with a smile on her face! Seriously, I'm really not sure what planet I am right now. She's spittin!Â
Spotted this cut over @ Nahright, and apparently this track will appear on Talib & Hi-Tek's The Re:Union project, as well as Statik's100 Proof: The Hangover.
