Welcome back my dude, I actually lost hope for a while.  But now it seems your back!

I was always a HUGE die-hard fan of Tim's production.  When I first heard his work on Petey Pablo's "Raise Up" I was immediately trying to find out who did the track.  When I did,  I bought the "Life From the Bassment" album without hesitation and listened, then listened and listened again.  I caught a lot of flack for owning that album.  Read the rest of this entry »

Rockstar the company that brought us the phenomenal Grand Theft Auto series (we are working on a review of the new "Ballad of Gay Tony" game), has done it again.  Beaterator is by far the most well put together complete production studio for a handheld device we've experienced to date.

It's not a game.  And I'm not kidding.  When I started hearing the buzz about Beaterator, the first thing that came to mind was the upcoming release of DJ Hero. I was thinking DJ Hero for producers, but don't get it twisted, it's nothing like that at all.  Although it's entertaining as all get out, you can actually create some pretty impressive music with it.  Not only does it come packed with loops so you can start creating right out of the box, Beaterator comes with a built-in synthesizer, sampler, drum machine, melody creater and much more which opens up a whole other dimension of beat making on a handheld that's never been seen before.
